In
1969 Phil Taylor designed and built his own bass stringing machine and
with new improved technology is still spinning high quality bass
strings today for the Music Trade.
In 1982 Phil was the first person in the country to write his own computer programme for calculating his bass strings. This
he followed by writing a further computer programme for re-scaling pianos.
